FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why do you use WhatsApp?
In the Netherlands and Germany WhatsApp is the most widely used messaging app, so you can reach us on the same channel while abroad. Details and safety tips in our WhatsApp guide.
Do I have to pay anything?
No. Our service is completely free for you – our fee is paid by the partner company. If anyone asks you for an advance payment for a job, be suspicious.
What language skills do I need?
For production and packing jobs often none at all. Forklift and skilled roles require basic English or German – we state this for every role.
How much does accommodation cost?
It depends on the role: sometimes it is free, sometimes a weekly amount is deducted from your wage. You receive the exact amount in writing in the offer, before departure.
Who pays for the journey?
We organise the journey. Who covers the cost depends on the role – this is set out in writing in the offer.
When do I get my first pay?
In the Netherlands usually weekly or every four weeks, in Germany monthly – always with an official payslip.
Can I travel home in between?
Yes, you can take leave in agreement with your employer. For longer-term jobs, regular trips home can be arranged.
What documents do I need?
A valid ID card or passport and, if you have them: trade certificate, forklift licence, driving licence. We help you get a local tax number and bank account.
